Why Grass Finished Beef?
No antibiotics or hormones are used.
These cows spend their days grazing on lush pastures.
During the winter months, they are fed hay that was harvested from these pastures during the spring and summer months.
Rotational grazing practices allow the land to rest and keep it from being over-grazed.
Moving the cows routinely ensures good health and hygeine.
These are happy, low-stress cows.
This lifestyle and diet produces a very healthy beef product for you.
Grass-fed beef has so much more flavor than grocery store feed-lot beef, and the health benefits are amazing. Raising animals on pasture completely changes the nutritional profile of the meat.
Yes, it takes more time and care to raise cows this way,
but we think you'll agree that it's worth it.
Pasture raised meats have up to three times higher concentrations
of polyunsaturated fats and omega-3 fatty acids (all of the good stuff).
Pasture raised meats are naturally lower
in saturated and monounsaturated fats (the bad stuff).
